Being born deaf gave me the opportunity to express myself through my hands for as long as I can remember. Wood work is like a second language to me – each piece is a unique conversation with the wood, the tools, and the understanding of how it all wants to fit together.

I’ve always been interested in woodworking and went to cabinetry school in Seattle, WA, where I also competed in collegiate gymnastics on the University of Washington men’s gymnastics team.

Having my own shop has giving me the freedom to express my art and share it with the world.

Seated with me is my son Kody.
